Sacunas Seizes Keystone Awards
Agency receives awards for communication excellence

Sacunas received four Keystone Awards and an honorable mention for excellence in public relations from the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).

The agency received the accolades during the chapter’s awards luncheon ceremony held at the C. Ted Lick Wildwood Conference Center of Harrisburg Area Community College on Nov. 5.

Sacunas earned two Keystone Awards for internal communications for its internal branding campaigns for two distinct clients. Both campaigns, designed to engage employees for the purpose of building a stronger, more unified company, succeeded in ensuring all employees understood their roles in contributing to the company vision.

The agency received a third Keystone Award for the development of sales materials related to a national direct mail campaign for a paper company. Centered around a three-part direct mail series, the campaign was designed to promote the company’s new, more eco-friendly paper products to customers and prospects.  In addition, Sacunas accepted a fourth Keystone Award in the category of supporting materials – specialty items for its innovative premium paper swatchbook, which enabled clients and vendors to have a true representation of a diverse range of samples.

Sacunas was also awarded an honorable mention for a community relations campaign designed to gain support for breast cancer research and awareness.

Presented by the Central Pennsylvania PRSA Chapter, the annual Keystone Awards recognize outstanding public relations work.  This year’s entries were judged by a panel of public relations professionals from the Blacksburg, Virginia PRSA chapter on the basis of performance of planning and objectives, research, execution, evaluation and results.

PRSA, headquartered in New York City, is the world’s largest professional organization for public relations practitioners. The Central Pennsylvania Chapter has more than 100 members practicing public relations from State College to Reading and from Wilkes-Barre to York.
