Celebrating its 15th year in business, the agency has succeeded in developing a national reputation in the industry, and in 2002 was recognized by PR Week magazine as one of the Top 10 Climbers in the nation.
Nancy supports the agency's clients with strategic direction, innovative solutions and more than 25 years of communications expertise. Providing counsel to companies at the executive management level, clients value her ability to actively listen, map out a strategic approach and drive results. Her comprehensive knowledge of communications, combined with her depth of experience in organizational and product branding, has been recognized twice at the national level within the past three years.
With a unique background in customer perception research and focus group facilitation, Nancy also guides the research efforts of the agency, assisting clients in objectively understanding their perceived market position, strengths and obstacles to success.
Working with clients at the state, national and international levels, she has supported such clients as Glatfelter, Schoeller and Hoesch, Capital Blue Cross, PA Department of Transportation, PA Department of Health, Victaulic, Marco, Gannett Fleming Engineers and Consultants, HRG Engineering, Capital Area Transit and Oldcastle's Mid Atlantic Group to name a few.
She has worked extensively in a number of industries including manufacturing, industrial, publishing, professional services, healthcare, building materials, economic development, transportation and retail. Her international work has resulted in the development of two affiliations for the agency, including Wittsiepe and Kussmaul in Europe, and ParsonsGlobe in Asia. Nancy is the recipient of more than five-dozen awards for excellence in the communications field and is recognized as one of the Best 50 Women in Business by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She is accredited by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), a distinction which places her within the top 4 percent of professionals nationwide. Actively involved in the profession at the national level, she serves on the Executive Committee of PRSA's Corporate Section, and the Conference Committee of PRSA's Counselor's Academy.
Frequently called upon by the national media as a spokesperson for the industry, Nancy also serves as a business resource for the media and serves on USA Today's Small Business Panel of Advisors. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pa., she holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from Eastern Kentucky University and in 1998 was named Outstanding Alumnus of the Year. She remains active in the local community and serves on numerous boards and committees.
